MISSIONS
In obedience to the Great Commission we believe it is our responsibility to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with everyone. Through the support of missionaries, other people are hearing God’s Holy Word and are being offered the gift of salvation in other countries as Jesus commanded.
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
Community Christian Church supports specific missionaries in noted countries through the following organizations:
Calvary International / Go To Nations, Asia
Reaching the Jewish people in the United States and around the world.
Precious gift Ministries ~ restricted access nations
OTHER MISSION WORK IS SUPPORTED THROUGH THE FOLLOWING ORGANIZATIONS:
Caring Partners International - An organization that partners with churches and missionaries to bring healthcare needs throughout the world. This work provides opportunities to show Christian love and share the Gospel.
WACOCA - The local food bank that churches of West Alexandria support to meet the needs of the local people as well as those who may need assistance while passing through our community. The needs may be food, clothing, a place to stay, or monetary. This organization provides much opportunity to share the Gospel.
